We considered 'MGMT - Kids' which is an upbeat, catchy riffed, very well known indie track. The best fitting idea for this would be to create a montage/art house video. We decided against this because it wouldn't work as well as a narrative or a performance in our opinion.
Another song we have considered is 'Arctic Monkeys - Rits to Rubble'. Which would be a narrative. The lyrics talk about being thrown out of a night club queue, we could visually portray this and then the rest of the video could be the people (kids) that got kicked out of the club going about the town causing trouble and acting up.
Another song we considered is 'Kings of Leon - On Call'. The lyrics seem to portray a relationship where the recipients are so close that they are 'on call' to each other if they are ever in need. Between the group we came up with the idea that, the couple go through a breakup at the beginning of the video and throughout the duration of the video they both individually become lost without their other half and start to act stupidly, towards the end of the video the boy, who is currently out with his friend very drunk, see's numerous missed calls of his distressed girlfriend and returns to her 'on call'.
