Joe simply rocking out with the 'On Call' bassline. The seriousity behind this picture is for Joe to be in shot with the camera as John had to get his positions and angles right. These were the moments the individual bassline moments were shot and perfection as well as ambition had to be undertaken. We achieved those results.

As you can see from the picture, John is navigating his way through the complex set of buttons and switches in which a quick tutorial was all that was needed to allow him to film and set up the footage required. With Joe set into position and the close up of his bass-playing set all that was left to do was for John to begin recording.

You can see here the three shots which were being filmed simultaneously and John job was to chose the right moments to switch from one to the other. From left-right was the close up of Joe's bass playing, the neck of the guitar/two shot performance and finally the close up of the artist faces whether that was me lip-syncing or Joe's bass face.

Here I was playing the guitar part to the song (just like Joe played the bass section) and lip-syncing. This was during a practice run to make sure the camera was right and I actually knew the song (believability). The chair on the floor, in case your confused, is for me to rest me leg onto as no futher straps were available. It was essential we didn't get it in the shot as it would make our video highly ammatuer and ruin the entire performance section. However, all was well and the shot went smoothly and the footage captured has been incopurated into our final video.
